Major Work constitutes 40% of student grade

The approved grading scale: A = 100-90, B = 89-80, C = 79-75, D = 74-70, F = 69-below.

All students are encouraged to keep abreast of his/her grades during each six weeks period. 

     General requirements

Introduction.   Career and technical programs are dedicated to preparing young people to manage the dual roles of family member and wage earner. Career and technical programs enable students to gain entry-level employment in a high-skill, high-wage job and/or to continue their education.

This course is recommended for students in Grades 10-12. Prerequisite: Principles of Information Technology.

Through the study of web technologies and design, students learn to make informed decisions and apply the decisions to the field of information technology. Students implement personal and interpersonal skills to prepare for a rapidly evolving workplace environment. The knowledge and skills acquired and practiced will enable students to successfully perform and interact in a technology-driven society. Students enhance reading, writing, computing, communication, and critical thinking and apply them to the information technology environment.
